Terms and conditions

1. Who you are contracting with

Boost My Site (boostmysite.app) is a service owned and operated by Yakou8 ("we", "us"). When you use Boost My Site you are entering into an agreement with Yakou8. You can reach us at George@yakou8.com.

2. Acceptance

By using Boost My Site, creating an account or buying anything from us, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. By continuing to use the service after we update these terms, you accept the updated version.

3. The service

Boost My Site reads the public pages of a website you name and produces an audit: findings, a score, suggested rewrites, speed and trust checks, a fix plan and, optionally, a comparison with competitors. Paid options are a one-off full survey, a monthly re-survey plan and a competitor SEO package. We only read what a website publishes and we never change your website.

4. Your account and authority

• You must be of legal age to enter a contract, and if you use the service for a business you confirm you are authorised to bind that business.
• Give accurate information and keep your sign-in details confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account.
• Only survey websites you own or have a legitimate reason to review.

5. Acceptable use

You must not misuse the service. In particular you must not:

• use it for anything unlawful, fraudulent or deceptive, or to send spam;
• infringe anyone's intellectual property or other rights;
• interfere with the service's security, upload malware, probe or test for vulnerabilities, or scrape the service or its reports by automated means;
• reverse engineer the service, resell or redistribute it, or get around usage limits.

6. AI-generated content

Parts of each report, such as rewrites, explanations, topic ideas and plans, are produced with AI. They may be inaccurate or incomplete and are not legal, financial or other professional advice. Review every suggestion before you publish it; you are responsible for what you put on your website and for having the rights to the content you ask us to review. We may filter or refuse outputs and restrict accounts that misuse the service. Rights holders can report infringing content to George@yakou8.com; repeated infringement leads to suspension.

7. Intellectual property

Yakou8 owns the service and everything in it, including the software, design, documentation and the Boost My Site name and branding. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service and the reports you buy for your own or your clients' websites. Your website content stays yours; you give us a limited licence to read and process it only to provide the service.

8. Payments, subscriptions and refunds

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

Payment, billing, tax, renewal and cancellation are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms. Monthly plans renew each month until cancelled; you can cancel any time from My surveys and keep access until the end of the paid month. Refunds follow our refund policy: a 14-day money-back guarantee applies while a report has not been delivered or unlocked, and delivered reports are handled case by case.

9. Service level and warranties

We work to keep Boost My Site available and accurate, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that following a report will lead to any particular ranking, traffic or sales. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the service is provided "as is" without implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.

10. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability to you is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as lost profits, data or goodwill. Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or anything else that cannot be limited by law.

You agree to compensate us for claims arising from your unlawful use of the service or your breach of these terms.

11. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or end your access if you materially breach these terms, do not pay, create a security or fraud risk, or repeatedly or seriously break these terms. You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time by contacting us. When access ends we delete or anonymise your data as described in our privacy notice.

12. General

Neither party is responsible for delays caused by events beyond its reasonable control. You may not transfer this agreement without our consent; we may transfer it as part of a merger or sale of the business. These terms are governed by the laws of Sweden, and disputes are handled by the Swedish courts, without affecting any mandatory consumer rights you have where you live.
